本作は“ごみ屋敷”をテーマに、6編のエピソードで構成された“断捨離人情喜劇”。主人公は原因不明の手の震えによりピアニストのキャリアを断たれた白高律稀だ。彼はたまたまチラシで見かけたごみ屋敷専門の清掃業者・断捨離パラダイスで働き始める。破天荒な上司と、さまざまな事情を抱えた依頼者たち。律稀は想像を絶する世界を目撃していく。
