Local cops are incapable to undertake an adequate action against the scoundrels - prevented by the superior chief of the local police (militia) which is the dad of one the scumbags. The case is closed. The girl's grand-dad tired of endless circumlocution decides to take revenge of his own.
本片乃韓籍導演張一湖於1972年執導的功夫片，故事講述日本財閥小川(井淼 飾)，為謀奪燕姓所有之森林，收買燕家的內侄徐千(陳鳳鎮 飾)，盜取地契印章。後被燕老發覺，徐千竟將燕老痛毆致死。關甫凌有女月花(井莉 飾)，與燕家小主人子飛(凌雲 飾)，本有嫁娶之約，燕老死後，子飛雖愛月花，但鑑於其父與日人相勾結，國恨家仇，兒女私情無法兼顧，只得示意決絕……
本片是成龙《蛇形刁手》的跟风作，剧情结构与《蛇形刁手》相似，不过远不及后者。但正是有着像《猴形扣手》这类片子的推波助澜，香港才有了谐趣功夫片的高潮迭起。论坛发过本片的英文版，现将国语版拿出分享，相信喜欢功夫片的朋友一定不愿错过。
